The Tome

What is Wyrmcodex?

A transforming dragon tome that opens into a complete Dungeon Master command center — sculpted wings, a roaring dice tower, magnetic command panels, and a refillable campaign journal. All bound in one. Closed, it weighs like a relic and stands on your shelf.

What's inside the tome?

When opened, Wyrmcodex reveals four integrated components: twin DM wing panels with ten magnetic anchor points, a 316 mm sculpted dragon dice tower with sensing LEDs, a refillable ring-bound campaign journal, and a magnetic pocket that holds up to six character sheets.

Is the dice tower powered? How does it light up?

Yes. The dragon's eyes are powered by a touchless sensor — drop a die into the tower and the LEDs ignite in warm amber. The light is intentionally calm, never rainbow. The internal battery recharges via USB-C; one charge lasts approximately 80 sessions.

What's the difference between Crimson Wyrm and Bronze Wyrm?

Two visual editions of the same tome. Crimson Wyrm is bound in deep red with darkened metal, for the campaigns that end in ash. Bronze Wyrm is bound in antiqued bronze with aged oak tones, for the campaigns that build empires. The mechanics and interior are identical.

Is each tome hand-finished?

Yes. Each tome receives final finishing in our forge: stamped spine, antiqued metal corners, and hand-aged dragon-wing relief. No two grain patterns are identical.

Kickstarter

When does the Kickstarter campaign launch?

We launch in June 2026. Waitlist members receive the exact date and a 24-hour-early access window before public launch.

How do I lock in the Super Early Bird at $179?

Join the waitlist. Waitlist members are queued first on launch day — the earlier you join, the higher your tier locks in. Super Early Bird is limited to the first 100 backers; once those are gone, you'll roll over to the next tier automatically.

What happens if the Kickstarter doesn't fund?

If we don't hit our funding goal, no pledges are charged and no tomes ship. You owe nothing.

Will there be stretch goals?

Yes. We'll announce stretch goals before launch in our Pre-launch email series. We're committing only to goals we can deliver without delaying fulfillment.

Shipping & Fulfillment

When will Wyrmcodex ship?

We expect to ship in Q4 2026 (October–December). We'll publish detailed manufacturing milestones during the campaign and monthly updates afterward. We'd rather underpromise and overdeliver than the reverse.

Where do you ship?

We plan to ship worldwide, with consolidation hubs in the US, EU, UK, and AU/NZ to reduce duties. Specific country availability will be finalized before launch.

How much is shipping?

Shipping will be added during pledge manager (PledgeBox), after the campaign closes. We aim for transparent, region-based flat rates — no surprise fees.

Pricing

Why are there different price tiers?

Earlier supporters take more risk and we honor that with deeper savings. Super Early Bird ($179) rewards the first 100; Early Bird ($199) the next 200; KS Special ($219) is open to everyone during the campaign. Retail post-Kickstarter is $329.

Can I add additional tomes to my pledge?

Yes. You can add multiple tomes (Crimson, Bronze, or mixed) at the time of pledging. Add-ons and stretch unlocks will be processed through PledgeBox after the campaign closes.

What will retail pricing be after Kickstarter?

$329 USD per tome. We won't run promotions below this price for at least six months after fulfillment — backers who supported us early should see lasting value.

Compatibility & Use

Is Wyrmcodex compatible with my campaign system?

Yes. Wyrmcodex is system-agnostic. The campaign journal, character pocket, magnetic anchors, and dice tower work with any tabletop RPG — D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e, Call of Cthulhu, Daggerheart, and beyond.

Will the magnetic anchors damage my paper handouts?

No. The anchors hold paper against the panel via a steel-disc magnet on the panel side — the paper itself is not magnetized or punctured.

How do I clean and care for the tome?

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid water on the leather-bound spine. Detailed care guide ships with each tome.
