Wyrmcodex is a brand operated by Gadget Labs, based in Hong Kong SAR. We are the data controller for personal information submitted through wyrmcodex.com. You can reach our privacy contact at hello@wyrmcodex.com.

2. What we collect

During our Pre-launch phase, we collect:

  • Email address — submitted through our Waitlist signup form (powered by PledgeBox).
  • Source attribution — UTM parameters and referring URL, used to measure marketing performance.
  • Device and browser data — IP address, user agent, and advertising cookies (_fbp, _fbc, _ga) — collected only after you grant cookie consent.
  • Interaction data — pages visited, scroll depth, video plays — collected through Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel after consent.

3. Why we collect it

  • To notify you when our Kickstarter campaign opens.
  • To send you the Pre-launch email series ("The Codex Awakens"), if you opt in.
  • To measure marketing campaign performance and improve our ads.

4. Who receives your data

  • PledgeBox — waitlist management and email delivery.
  • Meta Platforms — advertising attribution and lookalike modeling.
  • Google — site analytics and search.
  • TikTok — advertising attribution.
  • Cookiebot (Usercentrics) — cookie consent management.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California), you may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@wyrmcodex.com. EU residents have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

7. Data retention

Waitlist emails are retained for the duration of the Kickstarter campaign plus 12 months. If you unsubscribe, your data is deleted within 30 days.
